What worked well: The booking process itself was smooth, the contract and payment flow were clear, and the platform is easy to use. What could be better: When a real problem came up during my stay, the support I received fell short. I raised a serious concern about noise that was materially understated in the listing, provided evidence, and asked for the Move-in Guarantee to be applied. The response was dismissive and quickly rejected on the basis that the listing had "mentioned" the issue — without engaging with the substance of my complaint, which was that the listing significantly downplayed the reality. As a guest, this made the protections advertised on the platform feel much weaker in practice than they appear on paper. I would encourage Flatio to look more carefully at cases where a listing's disclosure does not match the actual conditions, and to train support staff to communicate more politely and empathetically with guests raising concerns.

Horrible service. I’ve received no support from Flatio on the number of issues I’ve faced. I have dealt with aggressive communication from the landlord and no partial refund to reflect my experience. I am still waiting a response from Flatio after 4 days. Never again!!

I'm not sure what I was actually getting from Flatio. For the amount of service fees I paid, I thought I would actually receive a service, but any time there was an issue I was instructed to talk to the landlord. When the accomodation I was staying in didn't work out as expected and I terminated the contract, the difference in the service fees was not refunded. I wouldn't use this service again.

Background check of landlords, check for legality of the apartment prior to renting to paying customers. Live up to some level of professional accountability when your paying customers have a bad and illegal experience with a landlord. Hire an attorney in the countries you do business in, to ensure a proper (and legal) lease agreement.

I'm waiting for an answer to my last email regarding the situation in the flat I rented as the landlady didn't take responsibility. I would like to know what is your position about that and how you intend to proceed. I wrote to Flatio immediately as I realised the nature of the problem I encountered, the response was fast but the support and compensation I received is not adequate. I understand that this situation might be difficult to assess but you allowed me to rent a place that wasn't safe to live in. I received an answer to my email and Flatio position is that you will not doing anything about it. And the next person who will rent the flat I stayed in will have the same problem I encountered as the landlady denied that there's a problem in the flat.

The website is confusing and the UI is terrible. Finding any sort of mundane information, such as the address of a flat, is impossible. I had to resort to messaging the landlord for basically everything. I also had the feeling the service is geared towards long term letting agreements rather than short stays. I don't think I'll be using this again. At least there are some good prices, but overall a bad website experience.

Faltio NEVER looks after the tennent. Trust us, we found out the hard way. We were evicted by landlord 6 days into a 12 month contract with no support at all by Flatio. Any doubts? We kept all the documentation. A horrible first time and last.
