Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with this apartment. There was mold on the walls, dirty dishes, a broken coffee machine, dirty windows with bird droppings on the sills, and months-old dust and cobwebs behind the bed. The wi-fi didn’t work, and both the shower and sink drains were clogged.

Although I asked the landlady to arrange cleaning and repairs, she said the cleaner was unavailable, and despite claiming she contacted other services, nothing changed for three days. She admitted the apartment was neglected and needed cleaning, but still didn’t arrange it.

She also accused me of pressuring her to move in earlier, even though she had asked for an extra day to prepare the flat — which I agreed to — yet the apartment was still in terrible condition. Her only solution was that I leave early, which she considered fair. I did not, as the apartment was too dirty to work, sleep, or live in.

I had to leave and find another place. Very unpleasant experience — I do not recommend this apartment.

I moved here for a six month let. The host did not give me a chance to view the flat before I moved in, saying there were guests there. When I arrived I found a live cockroach in the kitchen sink. The frid,ge was unplugged, leaking onto a wet towel underneath, and had a foul smell which had permeated all the flat. The flat was old and decrepid. There was clutter and old cheap furniture everywhere, so hardly any space to store my items and furniture. There were bedbugs in the bed.
I moved out the next day. I moved my possessions out the day after. The host refused to refund the rent I paid from when I moved everything out on the 3rd of October until the 31st. They are a scam. I've had to get my bank involved. I can't imagine anyone staying there even for a short holiday.

We arrived on the first day with an 8-month reservation, only to be told by the owner that we had to leave because he was planning to sell the apartment. We were forced to look for another place at the last minute, which was extremely stressful and unprofessional.

The kitchen had very few utensils, and most of them were dirty from previous guests. The apartment is very dark, most of the light bulbs don’t work, and overall it was not clean. The closets were full of the owner’s boxes and bags, leaving almost no space for us.

Terrible experience. I booked and paid for a T1 apartment (65 m²). On the day of our arrival, the phone number listed in the contract was unavailable, and the manager stopped responding in the chat. We arrived and ended up spending four hours outside waiting. During that time, we managed to find another phone number for the manager, but when we finally reached him, he said it wasn’t his problem and claimed they didn’t work with Flatio.

Thankfully, the cleaning staff noticed us, checked our documents, contacted their supervisors, and managed to find a vacant apartment for us. We’re very grateful for their help — especially since we had small children and it was already late, so finding another place would have been almost impossible.

Unfortunately, the apartment we were given was much smaller and in worse condition than the one we had originally booked. The manager didn’t offer any compensation for the difference, never apologized, and made no effort to take responsibility for what happened.

Unfortunately, I did not have a pleasant stay and wanted to change my accomodation from the very first day. The owner started blaming me for minor issues and kept introducing new rules. I recommend that she clearly list all her rules on the website so potential guests can decide beforehand whether they can comply with them. Moreover, it is not acceptable to treat tenants or guests disrespectfully.

From a technical standpoint, the lock on my door was faulty, and I was once locked out because of it. Additionally, the rug in the room caused me an allergy. When I asked for a vacuum cleaner to clean it, the owner refused. Overall, I do not recommend staying at her place.

Flatio’s service was excellent — 10/10 for their professionalism and responsiveness.
Unfortunately, my experience with host Emma Cano was very disappointing. Key amenities such as the mobile AC, printer, and scanner were not provided as advertised. The host frequently changed house rules, limited kitchen access, and spoke to tenants in a disrespectful manner. Despite trying to comply and communicate, the environment became uncomfortable.
I strongly recommend Flatio, but do not recommend this particular host or property.

V bytě bylo nevyhovující vybavení,v původnim zanedbaném stavu. Také špinavo. Gauč byl flekatý a nevyčištěný,prasklá postranice u ostele, kuchyňská linka s lemem špíny kolem umyvadla a s rozbitým šuplíkem,bez mikrovlnky, kývací zmožený konf.stoleček,
Prach na zásuvkách a vypinačích,nesvitolo velké světlo v koupelně a nešlo topení. Byla jen prikrývka pro dva,ale spala jsem na gauči, postel je malá. Tedy chyběla další přikrývka. Paní přinesla baterie do ovládáni topení a žárovku,ale to není moje práce davat do lampy žarovku.
Zrušen pobyt a nikomu tohle nedoporučím.

The apartment was advertised as 60 m², but in reality, it’s about half that size. During my stay, there was extremely loud heavy-duty construction nearby — the noise and vibration from the equipment were constant on weekdays and made it difficult to stay in during the day.

On the positive side, the unit itself is newly renovated and in good condition. It includes a small bedroom, a very compact bathroom, and a functional kitchen. Overall, it’s suitable for a maximum of two people, but be aware of the size discrepancy and potential construction noise.

Terrible experience. The house had hot water lasting no more than 3 minutes. The host entered the house without notice and was uncooperative. Every day there was a new problem. The toilet leaked multiple times. We were supposed to stay there for 3 months, and we managed to shorten it to one month — but after just the first week, with only 3 minutes of hot water per day, we had no choice but to move to another place. We tried to reach at least a mutual agreement to pay only for the first 7 nights since we couldn’t even take a proper hot shower, but the host kept denying the water issue and blaming us instead. We are not the first people to have this experience — I have NEVER had any problems with a house or a rental before, but with Radka I did. You can find more reviews on other rental platforms — I strongly recommend checking there.The owner will probably try to justify herself, but when negative reviews start piling up, maybe it’s time to ask a couple of questions.

On Sunday morning, as agreed with Mr. Michal, I arrived at his apartment at 10 a.m. I rang the doorbell, but no one came to open the door. I tried to contact him, and it turned out that he had overslept. When I entered my room, he informed me that he had not yet been able to clean it.

He then gave me a vacuum cleaner and cleaning supplies so I could clean everything myself. I have photos of this, but it is obviously difficult to capture this on camera. Everything in the house, including my room, smelled terrible of cigarettes and everything was musty. Even the bedding that was lying on my bed (in a pile). The green mat was also really dirty and musty. So it was clear that no one had been in the room for a long time. What's more, there were still things in the closet that he would pick up “when he had the chance.”

It also turned out that the door to my room was completely transparent and could only be closed with a hook. The bathroom couldn't be closed either. So I have no privacy at all.

The kitchen and bathroom, which we have to share, were also extremely dirty. Michal was not prepared for my arrival. The dishwasher was full of moldy stuff. When I was away for a while on Sunday afternoon, he quickly gave the kitchen and bathroom a superficial clean.

When I want to use the toilet, I notice that someone has urinated all over the seat.

I was planning to stay there for 4 months and only stayed 2 days.

Disgusting apartment from day one: mold on the walls, filthy toilet and shower, dirty kitchen, unusable oven. Nothing was as advertised, everything was filthy. The host doesn’t respond, refuses any refund, and denies the obvious. And worst of all, don’t count on Flatio: the platform protects the host instead of helping the tenant. Avoid at all costs.

Julie knew about a large re-constuction job happening in the flat directly above us. It went on everyday all day even the weekends!! When we asked Julie about she said that it was to be completed 2 weeks before our arrival and there was nothing she could do and would continue till mid September! We tried to find another place but everything in our budget and even beyond was booked, even with help of a Flatio rep. The flat itself was lacking TLC the bathroom has stains in the shower and broken vanity, the fridge didn't keep our items cold and the washing machine made all of our clothes super hard. We thought it was the hard water but, now we now live in our flat just a few streets away and our laundry comes out soft. But the worst thing was that NONE of the window locked and had no striping. So, we heard everything that was happening outside all the time.

We booked this apartment for a month expecting a quiet and peaceful place, as stated in the listing. However, we didn’t realize that the neighbor was practicing to become a DJ and played loud techno music. During the first week, this happened three times, starting as early as 10 AM. The noise was especially loud in the bedroom because the neighbor always kept the window open, and the entire wall vibrated due to the music.

When we informed the owner about this issue, he responded only after several days. Despite that, the neighbor continued playing music, sometimes until 10 PM ( the owner was aware of the neighbor’s DJ practice because he told us himself). We also discovered that the wall separating us from the next neighbors was very thin, like paper (it looked like it was one apartment that they divided into two using a thin wall). We could clearly hear noises from washing machines, shower, and running taps, which made sleeping very difficult.

Throughout our stay, we did not get a good night’s sleep even once. The owner always responded very late, and eventually, we had to leave and find another place, which was very challenging in the middle of summer. Communication with the owner was minimal and complicated.

We definitely cannot recommend this place. It is falsely advertised as quiet, but it is impossible to get any rest there. We travel all the time and rent apartments, but this was our worst experience.

Awful experience, the day I moved in I was told the hot water wasn’t working correctly, 5 weeks later when I moved out it still wasn’t working. On multiple occasions the landlord ignored me reaching out with issues and when she did finally respond it was always to blame me for the problems 😂 I really enjoyed Budapest but the attitude of this landlord makes me want to tell everyone I know never to come here. Very disrespectful and rude, she talked to me like I was a child infront of other people. Just an overall terrible experience. I do not recommend.

My wife, our small children, and I arrived at the apartment and discovered the next day a loud noise coming through the wall because renovation work had started. The host did not warn us about this. I immediately messaged him, but the noise continued every day for two weeks. The children were constantly crying and we couldn’t stay in the apartment comfortably, so we had to spend time outside. I asked them to find a solution, but they told me, “Sorry, we have no free apartments,” even though this is an agency and I could see other listings on their site. The air conditioner didn’t work at all—it leaked onto the sofa—so we were stuck in a stifling room. Giant cockroaches ran around the apartment and we had to kill them constantly. The window screens were in poor condition, so mosquitoes bit us at night. We had to turn to Flatio for help—many thanks to them! Flatio found us another apartment at a lower price where everything is great. This apartment is awful and not worth the money.

Mi experiencia en este alojamiento ha sido muy insatisfactoria por diversos motivos que considero importantes señalar:

En primer lugar, el piso presentaba una evidente falta de limpieza general. Había una acumulación considerable de polvo en todas las estancias, especialmente en la alfombra y la cortina, lo cual me provocó una fuerte reacción alérgica durante varios días, lo que afectó gravemente mi estancia.

En segundo lugar, el anuncio indicaba la existencia de un sofá cama, pero al llegar comprobé que únicamente había una cama montable, lo que constituye una información engañosa.

Asimismo, el baño se encontraba en malas condiciones de higiene, con telarañas y arañas visibles en el techo. Este detalle resulta inadmisible y denota una clara dejadez en el mantenimiento del alojamiento.

En cuanto a los electrodomésticos, todos presentaban un estado de suciedad considerable. La nevera no funcionaba correctamente y goteaba constantemente, mientras que el lavavajillas tampoco funcionaba de manera adecuada.

Por último, durante los fines de semana, el nivel de ruido procedente de un bar cercano fue excesivo, con música alta y aglomeraciones de personas en la calle hasta altas horas de la madrugada, lo que imposibilitaba el descanso.

En definitiva, no recomendaría este alojamiento y considero que la información proporcionada en el anuncio no se corresponde con la realidad.

This was one of the worst rental experiences I’ve had. The host, Furkan, maintains an uncomfortable and unwelcoming environment, made worse by the excessive number of passive-aggressive signs plastered all over the apartment dictating everything from how and when you can eat, clean, or even use the fridge.

There were unreasonable rules like not being allowed to wash dishes or use the washing machine after 9 PM because it was “his bedtime” — even though you could clearly hear him watching TV and moving around upstairs until 1 AM. He also claimed guests shouldn’t order food after 10 PM to avoid disturbing neighbors, yet neighbors were active and receiving deliveries well past midnight.

Basic amenities were falsely advertised. The listing mentioned a fan and access to a terrace, neither of which were actually available. I had to buy my own fan and was later told the terrace was off-limits, despite it being written in the house rules that it was allowed. He seems to selectively enforce and change the rules depending on who the guest is.

The kitchen was under-equipped — there were only a couple of usable utensils and at one point we had to share a single fork between two people because the others mysteriously “disappeared.” He also made petty complaints when we used a tiny bit of shared oil, despite us regularly sharing our food with him and each other.

Worse than the pettiness, the host behaved inappropriately. I was meeting with a real estate agent to view apartments (a short-term stay was the only reason I booked this place), and before we left, the agent asked to use the bathroom. After that, the situation took a very uncomfortable turn. I went upstairs visibly distressed and on the verge of a panic attack, hoping Furkan would help or ask the man to leave, but instead, he showed zero empathy and immediately locked all his doors, as if I were the problem.

He also regularly ignored messages and then lied about not having his phone, even though he had an AirPod in and his phone could be heard buzzing nearby under the couch.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Furkan leaves a negative review in retaliation for this, but future renters deserve to know the truth. This listing should not be allowed to remain on Flatio. It’s misleading, restrictive, and feels more like a monitored trap than a welcoming rental. Avoid at all costs.

I am a young girl and was looking for digital nomad vibes, to work with other young like minded people but the only people coming and going the whole time were old, unclean men. for a month long, my whole stay. which made me feel uncomfortable and I didn't enjoy living in a dirty old men dominated place as a 26 year old. probably not what you're looking for if you want to rent long term as a young female digital nomad. there were some small wifi and water issues for a short time but the host was very responsive to these issues and they were rapidly solved.

If you enjoy being treated like an unwanted guest in a stranger’s over-decorated storage unit, this is the rental for you. From the moment I moved in, I was met with broken fixtures, dirty appliances, and personal belongings stuffed into nearly every drawer and cabinet, leaving me nowhere to unpack. When I brought up basic expectations—like functional lighting or a working doorbell—I was met with dismissiveness, condescension, and outright hostility.

Alexandra made it painfully clear she saw the apartment as hers and me as some temporary inconvenience paying 30,000 crowns per month for the privilege of being ignored. When I requested actual solutions, I was told things like, “You don’t need that much space,” and “If you don’t like it, just leave.” So I did - I left.

Do yourself a favor: avoid this place, avoid this owner, and avoid the stress. You’re renting an apartment, not entering a psychological endurance test.

2 stars. Firstly I enjoyed my 2 month stay in Albufeira away from the UK winter, just what I needed after 3 years of cancer treatment. However I’m afraid on arrival at the property I was disappointed in the condition also there is a lot of traffic noise but one gets used to that in time. There is a very useful and well stocked supermarket very close and in walking distance also there is a very pleasant park walk that leads down to the shops and restaurants and also the beach all being only a mile away.
On entering the property via the gate and proceeding up the drive there are many broken floor tiles that are a health and safety issue not only for the elderly. The outside walls are very dirty and could do with repairing and painting as the property is letting down the area as neighbouring properties are well looked after. There was an outside lamp hanging down over the patio doors with bare wires exposed, maintenance did respond immediately when I pointed the danger to them. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms but neither doors close also the bathroom door doesn’t close. The upstairs landing light does not work. In the kitchen there are saucepans with handles that are almost falling off so could be very dangerous carrying hot liquids. Laminate on cupboards and draws is peeling off. The property is very rundown with paint peeling off the internal walls in many places and cracked tiles. The kitchen sink plug is the wrong size. No plugs for bathroom or downstairs cloakroom sinks. Fridge light not working. All that can be said of the BBQ is disgusting. I was told a gardener would come once a week but he came only once in 2 months so garden not looking good.
The potential for this property is very good, it just needs looking after.
