Welcome to my home in Cheongdam.
This is a private room in a shared apartment where I also live — not an agency listing, a guesthouse, or a share house. There is one other resident in a separate room. Both of us are working professionals who keep calm hours, and the apartment stays quiet.
The room
A bright, recently renovated room with a double bed, a wooden dressing table with mirror, a bedside table, built-in wardrobes and a wall-mounted TV. Two windows with blinds keep it light through the day. Bedding and furniture are all provided, so you can arrive with a suitcase and nothing else.
Shared spaces
You’re welcome to use the large living room and the kitchen. The living room is genuinely spacious — a long sofa, a rug, bookshelves and a desk by the window — so it’s a comfortable place to work or read rather than somewhere you just pass through. High-speed wifi throughout, and a washing machine.
There are two bathrooms. I have my own, so the second one is shared between you and the other resident — just the two of you, so there’s no morning queue.
The neighbourhood
Cheongdam is widely regarded as the most exclusive neighbourhood in Gangnam — flagship boutiques, galleries and some of Seoul’s best restaurants — yet the residential streets themselves are calm and green. It is a genuinely easy place to live.
The Han River walking and cycling paths are three minutes away on foot, so a morning run or an evening walk by the water becomes part of ordinary life here rather than an outing. Apgujeong Rodeo, the Galleria department store and COEX are all close by.
Cheongdam Station (Line 7) is one minute away on foot — rare even in this part of Seoul. Gangnam, Samseong and Seongsu are a short ride away, and airport transfers are straightforward.
About me
I work in film and tech, and I’m often out during the day. I’m happy to help with the small things that are hard in a new country — where to find something, how a delivery app works, what a notice on the door means — and equally happy to leave you to your own routine. I value quiet and privacy, and I expect the same.

Parking can be added as an optional extra if you need it.
This address cannot be used for resident registration (전입신고) or for registering an ARC address. It suits remote workers, visiting professionals and medium-term stays — not suitable if you need a registered address in Korea.
As I live here and share the common areas, I host women only, and the apartment is non-smoking.

How you can cancel a booking varies depending on what stage the booking is in.
Is your booking request still waiting for host approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your booking request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the booking before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the host accepts your booking, the property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
