A charming and thoughtfully arranged one-bedroom home in the heart of Mouraria, one of Lisbon’s oldest and most authentic neighbourhoods.
With approximately 35 m², the apartment is compact but designed to make the most of the available space. From January 2027, the apartment will feature one separate bedroom and a larger, more comfortable living and dining area, making it particularly suitable for one person or a couple staying in Lisbon for several weeks or months.
The apartment
The living and dining area is the heart of the apartment, with space to relax, eat, read or work.
Natural light enters through the windows and small Juliet balcony, bringing the atmosphere of the historic neighbourhood into the apartment.
The separate bedroom has a comfortable double bed and is designed as a calm and cosy place to rest.
The kitchen is fully equipped for everyday living and longer stays, including the essentials needed for cooking at home.
The apartment also includes a washing machine, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels.
Electricity, water and internet are included in the rent.
A home for longer stays
The apartment is especially suited to guests who are not simply looking for somewhere to sleep, but for a small and comfortable home from which to experience Lisbon.
The larger living and dining area makes it suitable for relaxing at home, enjoying meals or working remotely.

From the apartment, much of central Lisbon can be explored on foot. Martim Moniz, Baixa, Graça, Alfama and São Jorge Castle are all nearby, while cafés, restaurants, supermarkets and public transport are within easy reach. The location is particularly suited to guests who want to experience everyday Lisbon and live in a genuine historic neighborhood rather than in a modern apartment complex.
Good to know
+The apartment is located on the second floor of a traditional Lisbon building without a lift.
+Like many historic buildings in Mouraria, the staircase is narrow and has retained its traditional character.
+The apartment does not have air conditioning. A fan is provided for warmer periods.
+Mouraria is a lively central neighborhood. The apartment faces the traditional Escadinhas outside, which are used by local residents and visitors. As is common in historic Lisbon buildings, sound insulation is limited and some neighborhood sounds may occasionally be heard.
+The apartment is compact, at approximately 35 m². It is therefore best suited to one person or a couple rather than guests looking for a large apartment.
If you are looking for a modern development, large rooms or complete silence, this may not be the right home for you.

Once you send a booking request, the host is notified that you are interested in their listing. From that moment, they have 24 hours to approve or reject your booking.
Hosts are mainly interested in the profile of their guest. Do not forget to fill in all necessary information, add your profile picture, or even make a short video about yourself. Doing that will make you more attractive for the owner and your booking will more likely get approved.
You can take a look at the contract in advance and online with every listing. After you sign it, you will find it in the application My Housing.
While arranging a contract on Flatio, you do not have to worry that it could be disadvantageous for you. Our contracts are made so that we avoid all problems! All of them are the same, used by all the hosts on Flatio.
Your time is precious. That's why we've added a virtual tour option to our platform so you can see some of the rentals listed on Flatio from the comfort of your own home.
If a virtual tour isn't available for the accommodation you've chosen, you can contact the host and ask them if they're willing to give you a personal tour of the rental unit.
In the event that you move in and the rented accommodation doesn't match the information on Flatio, let us know as soon as possible!
If the conditions for the withdrawal are met and the host can't fix the issue immediately, you have the option to withdraw from the lease agreement with a full refund. We'll also actively help you find an alternative accommodation and remain by your side until everything is fully resolved.

How you can cancel a booking varies depending on what stage the booking is in.
Is your booking request still waiting for host approval? Then you can simply cancel it directly from your My Housing web app!
However, suppose the owner has already approved your booking request, and you are no longer interested in it. In that case, you can still cancel the booking before you sign the lease agreement. Just consider that you should do this only in essential cases. Because when the host accepts your booking, the property is stopped being advertised, and they can lose the chance to rent their property to someone else.
Do you have an approved booking and also a valid agreement? In order to cancel your booking, contact Flatio customer support well in advance of your contract beginning (the specific time and amount of refund depends on the type of cancelation policy).
If you cancel your booking 14 days or more before the move-in date, you’ll get a refund of the entire first rent.
If you cancel your booking up to 7 days before the move-in date, you’ll get a refund of half of the first rent.
If you cancel your booking less than 6 days before the move-in date, you won’t get a refund of the first rent.
The service fee is always refundable.
If you send a message to Flatio's Support Team requesting cancelation of the booking ("termination from the start date") within 48 hours after the lease agreement becomes valid, you're entitled to get back all the money you paid for the service fee.
After 48 hours, you're entitled to a refund of the service fee in the form of a "voucher" equal to the amount of the service fee you paid. The voucher can be used for your next booking and is valid for 12 months. If the service fee for your next booking is lower than the voucher amount, we'll issue you a new voucher for the remaining amount, valid for 12 months.
